John E. Snider is currently the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Henry Ford Hospital and Health Network. He is a former ER nurse, soldier, firefighter, paramedic and an Eagle Scout. John is the training officer and a nurse supervisor for Michigan-1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team. He is cadre for the Michigan State Police Homeland Security and Training Division and was recently asked to join the cadre at the Center for Domestic Preparedness for the Department of Homeland Security. John has co-authored 3 books on disaster operations. He spends his off time woodworking, fishing, hunting, golfing and annoying his wife and 3 kids.
