Essex Windsor EMS is excited for the ongoing support from Demers Ambulance to OAPC members. This year is no different and TCO2 is able to offer a relaxing, entertaining and education exploration of the Windsor riverfront. On September 23, 2015 the Windsor River Cruises MV Macassa Bay will be chartered for a three hour cruise. Not to worry, the Skipper and Gilligan are not at the helm, as we ply the waters of the lovely Detroit River. See majestic residence, pristine parkland and the gorgeous skyline of both Windsor and Detroit. Be mesmerized by the lights of the GM World Headquarters, see the home of the numerous Stanley Cups and the Detroit Red Wings, see our venue, Caesars Windsor from a whole new perspective and glide past the world’s busiest international border, the Ambassador Bridge.
The ship can be boarded at 18:30 and the horn will blast at 19:00 as we slip from the dock. In case you become thirsty, a cash bar is available on board (Demers will be supplying one complimentary drink ticket), rock to the on board music, meet old and new friends, network with fellow colleagues or just plain relax. Appetizers will be abound on the lower deck and sure to be delicious, as they are supplied by the local St. Clair College Culinary Arts program. This will truly be a cruise not long forgotten.
As the sun has set, we slip back to shore at 22:00 and it is just steps back to the hotel , the buzz and excitement that awaits. On behalf of OAPC and the entire EWEMS team, thank you Demers Ambulances for your ongoing support to OAPC and taking care of us during TCO2.
