The 2015 Paramedic Chief’s Golf Tournament will be hosted at Ambassador Golf Club.

Ambassador Golf Club is the premier public golf club in the Southwestern Ontario Region.  The golf course was designed by renowned golf course architect Thomas McBroom.  His signature has become synonymous with the design and construction of many exceptional golf courses across North America and around the world.  In the past 25 years he has created a legacy of classic courses distinguished by their detailed craftsmanship, sound strategy, solid routing and great beauty.  His work has stood the test of time and his courses are routinely ranked amongst the best in Canada, Europe and the Caribbean.  Ambassador Golf Club was one of his creations that opened for business in 2005 and has been strongly ranked nationally ever since.

Ambassador Golf Club is a Par 71 public golf course that has been acknowledged by leading golf writers from across the country after visiting our magnificent facility.  Upon opening it was nominated as the “Best New Course” in Canada (Golf Digest) and Ontario (OG Magazine).  In that same year, Ambassador Golf Club was rated as one of the “Top 15 Best Golf Values” in the province by Ontario Golf Magazine.  Most recently Ambassador Golf Club was ranked #50 on the Score Golf List of the top 59 Public Golf Courses in Canada and of that list was rated # 1 in “Best Value”.

As has been tradition over the years, the Chief’s Golf Tournament has three fundamental goals:

  1. Raise money for Make a Wish Foundation
  2. Network with colleagues and service partners and vendors
  3. Have fun!

This year’s tournament is planned to hold true to those goals and then some. For one registration fee you will receive the following:

  • Valet bag check –Check into the hotel, check your golf bag. Your clubs will be transported to Ambassador GC and when the tournament is finished, they will return to your room. No need to handle and carry them after dinner.
  • Highway Coach Transportation to the Course and back- St. Clair College has graciously supplied their school highway coach for participants to travel to the Links. Sit back, relax and enjoy the Windsor riverfront.
  • Interdev refreshment service- Interdev has again proudly sponsored the refreshment service during the Tournament. With two roaming carts and a stationary stand mid-way around the course, no one should go thirsty.
  • 18 Holes green fees- No much more to say but you will be experiencing one of the exceptional golf courses in the area! Fore!
  • Inclusion into the UTM Skins Game challenge – When registering, each foursome will be asked to name which UTM/DDA they are representing. You do not need to work for that UTM/DDA. Scores will be calculated and at the end, a winning UTM will be determined. Bragging rights all around and rights to the trophy for a year!
  • Dinner- Las Vegas style Buffet- Enjoy a full, all you can eat Las Vegas style Buffet. Local chicken and beef with a wide variety that change on the fly. As well, a beautiful selection of fresh fruit and pastries.

Golf Sponsorship

Sponsorship packages offer a wide variety of opportunities to showcase your organization’s services or products. We are offering the traditional tee block signs and new this year are pin marker flags and golf cart videos. Imagine when the player approaches a hole, a 30 second information video of your organization welcomes them to the green. As the players approach the green, they see your crest or logo on the pin marker flag.
